| I am selling a 1990 range rover. It runs great but there are a few things that need to be done to be safe for driving...gas tank needs to be replaced, brake pads are at 50%, 2 hoses need to be replaced, headliner needs to be glued back and i would replace the muffler but not needed. I put in a new battery in Febuary of 2008 and full maintenance at 75k miles. The tires have only 2000 miles on them(lots of tread). This vehicle has been in Rhode Island until 2007 when I moved to Ohio, this being said...it has very minimal rust. |

The engine is complete with manual transmission with clutch and all accessories including radiator and intercooler. This is ready to go into your Range Rover Classic or Discovery to give over 22 MPG on Diesel or Veggie Oil. With some modification to the turbo mounting, it will also go into a Series Land Rover or Defender in the place of the thirsty V8. It was removed from an accident damaged Discovery. | I am selling my 1972 Range Rover. It is great fun and I love the simplicity (4 fuses total) of it but with all of the overtime and changing plans/family circumstances, I haven't had much time to tinker. It has a NEW gas tank (summer '06). Body/frame are in great shape and the drivetrain runs great - 3.5L with dual carbs with a NEW electric fuel pump (winter '07). Vacuum operated diff-lock (with indicator light on the handle). OME HD springs. Exhaust is a touch on the loud side but sounds good with the flowmaster. There was some restoration work done before it was imported to the US after its 25th birthday. This included being disassembled, painted and then reassembled (paint is a Mercedes color). [paint job was not the best and has begun to peel near the gas cap] Also, H4s headlamps were added and the hood and front fenders were replaced from a newer donor vehicle (hence no side-view mirrors on the wings). Part of the dash was replaced using the later donor. All new carpets were installed also - the interior is in like-new condition. It has a modern AIWA cd/mp3 stereo. The original hand crank starting method still works but is not recommended. |

''The Stage One'' was the first stage of the development of the Defender, which was borne out of the necessity of creating a vehicle that would compete against Toyota products that were making inroads at the time into Land Rover's foreign markets. | Runs well, engine is in great shape. Shifts well in 2wd, 4wd lo, and 4wd hi. Dual tanks. Needs a little tlc and some tires. Newer alternator, new weber carb( 1500 miles old). Body is in good shape . There are a few dings as well as a dent in the driver side front fender.Seats are so so. Back door is a little rough.Hasn't driven in nearly 5 yrs. When I parked it, all the electrics worked. I am located in Rossland in the Kootenays. |
