Since you're buying new, any little issues will be fixed under warranty, so that's reassuring. The basic mechanicals are extremely tough for serious offroading, so you are basically looking at a real four wheel drive with luxury built in, instead of a luxury car with four wheel drive functionality, which seems to be what a lot of SUVs out there seem to be.
