'Carn Clem!

Get with the times. It's time to start using efficient machinery in these days of global warming and dwindling oil resources. Diesel burns nearly 90% more efficiently than unleaded does, and it doesn't blow out the nasty cocktails that your old V8 does; just a puff of particulate soot every time you sink your right foot. Hardly poisonous at all, really.

The TD5 seems to be going well in Australia - even the Australian army has negotiated a contact with Land Rover for new TD5's.

Even my 300Tdi is fine, as long as I replace the timing belt every 70,000kms.

You'll enjoy the change to diesel; even if it is only the hip pocket savings.
