Buying a 1994 Defender 90 ??? Posted by P-O Selander on June 03, 1998 at 17:49:44: Currently looking at 1994 LR defender 90 with some 70K miles. It has all options such as brush guards, driving lights, bikini top, the small soft top as well as a glassfiber hard top + A/C installed (needed in Texas). Car seems to be in good shape, but I have not yet managed to get any specifics or seen any of the maintenance records. Claims a new transmission from november 1997, but I figure out it is probably just the clutch. What should I specifically look for on this vehicle and what are the "culprits" on the V8 or the transmission on a car with this high mileage? Any advice are appreciated ! //// P-O, Dallas, TX
