I've heard that it's OK to use unleaded in the '2.3 litre' petrol engine, without modification. My early (1984) 90 is fitted with (according to the sales literature at the time), a 2.3 engine. Can I use unleaded ?
There's a letter in this month's (June 1998) Land Rover Owner Magazine covering this issue and the say it's OK.
