Etienne, Conversion to 200Tdi is straightforward. Note 300Tdi position is different, more to the front of vehicle (hence missing competitive edge in off-road performance: front axle heavier loaded, look at Toyota's with heavy 4 l diesel plowing through mud & sand, front axle too heavy relatively. Conversion kit number genuine LR = STC84357 (1194 reference part no., Ninety & One Ten vehicle, 2.5 Diesel Turbo / Power Assisted Steering/ Engine prefix no. 19J00001C --> onwards, 1986 -> onwards. 200Tdi is proven, stiffer engine (additional ladder frame underneath), turbo better protected against water splashes (on top of engine), starter moter cooler (no hot turbo nearby).
