Disco Roof rack weight ?

Discovery 1996 tdi.
I have had a (trophy type - not onto rollbars though)
roof rack made. It is clamped in 5 places (each side)
to the roof channel. Does anyone know the MAX weight on/offroad that these
channels can take? i.e. How much weight did you
have on yours when they bent :-)
