You don't say why you think it needs re programming, but the text on page 16 of the Owners Manual tells you how to synchronise the handset. There are other trouble shooting hints on the page.
If you have to change the handsets, they can be initialised without using the Testbook, but the details are in the Workshop Manual, not the Owners Manual.
