Thanks verymuch for the 225/75 R16 data. From my limited understanding of how sizes are computed, a 225/75 tire would be about 1/3" larger, with a section width about 0.40" narrower. Since narrower tires usually "cut through" better, and a taller aspect ratio can handle a higher load rating, I believe that you have answered my question, and thank you very much! GF
