Etienne: Thank you very much for your "instant" reply, however, the NAS Discos already arrive with 235/70 R16 Michelins on alloy wheels. I have a '96 SD manual trans, and it does not have the alloy spare, but a steel wheel. I was thinking that when the Michelins wear out (they are horrible in wet, leafy forrest conditions) that I would purchase another Castor wheel (16 x 7) and also get a set of 5 General Grabber AP's which apparently came in first overall in LRO's huge tire test. In addition, I could then get 3 more steel wheels, and get a set of B F Goodrich Mud T/A's for the off roading. For BOTH the Generals and Goodrich's I would gladly go to a narrower and taller size, or a wider and taller sixe, e.g. 265/75 R16 as on the NAS Defenders, IF THEY FIT! The Disco is heavier than a Defender 90, so the weight would actually be in a better range than the Defender. Safari Gard actually has 285 tires on a Disco and/or Range Rover Classic, but I'm not sure if those vehicles are "lifted" from the frame like many pickup truck owners do. This is the reason for my question, as I am completely ignorant of what will correctly fit under a Disco. Thanks, again! GF
