Thanks, Nancy and Mike! I was aalread "sold" on synthetics, but worried that LRNA / Dealer had "actual" reasons for not using them. I will use Mobil 1 at the usual 7500 mi intervals, and change the filter and top-off at "in between intervals" of 3750 miles. The dealer doesn't mind if I bring my own oil, as I did with the Defender 90. Hopefully, thi Disco's mileage will improve, too, as I routinely gor 18-19 mpg from the Defender.
