Synthetic Oil

Is it OK to use synthetic oil in NAS Disco's? LRO advertises
Castrol Syntec. Is Mobil 1 OK. Dealer and LRNA says it will
leak and ooze, but I hate to give up the benefits of synth. oil.
Please, any expert help will be appreciated.
