As regards to buying a new FREELANDER, I am the proud owner of a diesel 2.0ltr. I highly recomend it and as for fuel consumption, i seem to be achieving approx 40mpg. even with the odd detour from the tarmac. Very HIGHLY RECOMEND you go for one. tt
