About an hour ago decided to change the worn out steering stabilizer on my wifes daily driver 97 Disco SE. Everyhting was fine until I installed the new bilstein...the end with the dust cover (threaded end) has no notch to keep it from spinning when tightening the lock nut...the other end is flattened and allows you to hold the threaded end with one wrench and tighten the nut with another...the dust cover end doesn't have this flattened portion...I've used needle nose pliers to tighten it fairly close but still lack about an 1/8th of an inch...HELP... I don't want to reinstall the old worn out one...
