All Land Rovers sold in Australia (and I think in the UK) were fitted with 16 inch wheels. I believe that 15 inch wheel were used in the UAS because 15 inch tyres were more easily obtainable. There were at least 3 widths, the early Series I and SWB Series II and IIa were fitted with narrow rims with 6.00x16 tyres, the LWB were fitted with wider rims and 7.50x16 tyres and the forward control were fitted with even wider wheels and 9.00x16 tyres.
As for the cost, here they are dirt cheap but in the USA? They would be easy to get from the UK but the cost of transport might be rather a lot.
