SPEED COSTS MONEY - HOW FAST YOU WANT TO GO?
This is old saying and still holds true. I post a number of replies on subject, but... everyone asks too many questions and buys NO parts.
Parts aval are: Cam, lifters, chain/gear sets/ chrome molley push rods, headers, blowers, turbos, etc. NO CHIPS>>>>>>> everything from mid 1990 on wards is solderied in.
Some of the above items are cheap, $210 for a cam (and NO I will not disclose make or specs on cam)... prb is labor, Rover allows 12+ hours to R&R camshaft... this is what stop everyone (but a few).
My 94 Disco & 91 Range Rover GDE both have cams, lifter, pushrods. port jobs, etc and flat haul ass for what they are (Disco will do 120 mph... both have 245 bhp!... BUT my 2000 Dodge Dakota 4wd pickup with 4.7L OHC V8 will eat them alive!!! SO now what? If you want parts I will sell them... But please do not ask about info as we will not supply it, took too long to figure it all out. Sorry guys, have to draw the line somewhere. MG
