G'day I had a Range Rover for several (about 5) years and did 100,000 km in that time. I replaced the disk pads a couple of times but the disk rotors were still fine. If they become scored either because you spend half your time driving in mud or because you run the pads down to the metal backing plates, then you may have to have them machined proveded they are not too thin. The answer is in general NO. Michael
