My 2000 Discovery S-II has the auto climate control. When set to 68-72 degrees the system works fine around town. On four recent 300 mile trips, after about 1.5 hours the systems suddenly changes (with no input from me) to blowing COLD air out of the top and side window vents while continuing to blow the appropriate warm air out of the bottom vents. This can't be proper and when its 20 degrees outside this cold air is unacceptable. I'll schedule it in with my dealer in a few weeks, in the meantime, any ideas what is wrong - this column has helped me in the past before the dealer came up with the right diagnosis. Thanks.
