Fuel Injection problem on a Series I

Hello!
I am the proud owner of a 1949 Series I and I am having some problems with the fuel injection. My guess is that I will have to change the gas pump and that is the problem. Down here in Brazil, I would never find this part. I have been trying to adapt different pumps but it still doesn't work due to the difference of size and/or pressure.
Does anyone have an idea and could help me?
