'97 Discovery Canoe Rack -- Help

Can anyone advise as to which roof rack is the best for carrying a canoe
on the roof? I have the factory installed roof racks but they do not
go all the way to the rear. Are any aftermarket racks better? (i.e.
Thule or Yakima). I heard that the LR rack is really a Thule. Does
anyone know if this is true? Thanks in advance. Randy
