I used it on my Discovery. I bought the small drum with the sprayer, it worked very well. Yes, it is necessary to heat it in hot water for a time to thin it out, the instructions are specific in this regard. I did not drill any holes either, I justed poked around underneath the vehicle and coated where ever I thought might be a possible future corrosion area.
