MOT Help

Help.. I love my series three (unfortunately my wife does not) and as explained in an earlier message I have my MOT next month. Trouble is, I'm not much of an expert and I need it for travelling up and down the M6 each day (great for commuting through spaghetti junction !!) Two requests :-
The bulkhead extension which attatches to the chassis ... its rusting on an angle near to the big bolts.. is it an MOT pass and can I get the extension as an over the counter part.
Secondly.. any enthusuast in the Tamworth / Coleshill area fancy helping me out replacing my swivels, axle seals, bulkhead extensions, etc
