Pull off (one by one) all the h.t. leads. Squeeze silicon sealant, the stuff used on baths etc., round the inside of the rubber boot, and plug them on again, making sure you get a good seal. Remember to do both ends! Take off the distributor cap, squeeze a line of silicon round the edge, stick it down. Easy to take the leads off again if you need to. I did this to my '66 lwb 4cyl. and went wading. It works!
