Phil, who owns my local 4x4 shop runs an Eagle (UK plastic kit) bodied Range Rover chassis with 5.9lt AMC cast iron engine, mated to 3 speed auto (Torqueflite?) and I cannot remember what transfer box. Currently I am water jet cutting and laser cutting an adaptor plate and spacer for him to fit the AMC to a Range Rover 4 speed auto with RR transfer box, because the 3 speed auto habitually goes wrong. We have still to make another mock-up before we start cutting 1.5inch thick aluminium plate at huge expense!
2 adaptors and spacers will be cheaper than one, so if you are not in a hurry could do you a deal!
The off-road capabilities of this truck are unbelievable!
Regards Dave.
