Series III vs. Toyota FJ-40 Land Cruiser

I am torn between buying a Toyota Fj-40 and a Series III 88" for a
ground up renovation. I have owned a Fj-40 in the past and absolutely
loved it. However, my faithfulness to the FJ-40 is waivering from all
the positive messages in the Land Rover Forum (I visited this site in
hopes in hopes of reinforcing my loyality of the Land Cruiser). Can
anyone out there give me a sound comparison between the two? I do
realize that any response will be biased considering that it will be
coming from a Land Rover Owner.
