Congratulations on your '95 Discovery and your enjoyment of it off-road. We too were impressed with the capability, but understand not so many folks will appreciate when they have to be on a first name basis with the service technicians. You obviously have gotten a Land Rover with the problems already sorted out or have not owned it very long. We are currently trying to get rid of our '95 Discovery because everytime we attempted to actually used those capabilties, it has had big time reliability problems. Each has occured more than once and involved the brakes (the last one was total brake system failure), steering system breakdown, engine stalling, and have actually
put us in personal danger of an accident. Lest you think we are complainers,we are currently trying to trade it in on a '98 Discovery, plus I own a '74 SIII 88 which I have off-roaded. My advice to you is to enjoy it, but invest in an extended warranty if you plan on keeping it. Karen Sindir
