Ghostrider, you're right.EGR valve on top of Turbo.EGR control unit is under the central cubby box.I've read the workshop manual 4 the def 300tdi and it explains the EGR circuit.I've tried it yesterday(after a lot of nerve)and pulled the plug off.you can really tell the difference.i noticed a slight power increase.But it will most certainly increase fuel consumption?right? Thanks for the info.
Barney, graet town L.A., been there, loved it.If u heard about Portugal, this is close to a banana republic...let's say a pineapple republic.There cars driving around here which are 20 years old or even more.Nobody gives a flying f... about the environment.
Paradox is the fine thing in the States.Americans drive cars with engines from 5-liters on which spend 40 liters of gas/100 km and the you get a fine if u kill the egr plug!
