The K & N air filter is too expensive to just throw away. Here in LA, it costs about $40.00 each. You have to use the K & N cleaning kit. It has a special oil to use. You spray on the oil and it will 'drip' off all the dirt/dust/grit. Then you air dry it. Do not use any pressurized air to blow on it. You will ruin it. I can imagine that you paid a lot more money for this filter in Cyprus, and you certainlyl would not want to throw it away and buy a new one every time it gets dirty.
