Hi

i have a defender 90 200 tdi 1992 model

the wheels are 5.5x16

can I fit 235/85/16 tyres ?

the problem I think is not clearance between the tyres and the wheelarches
but rather the fact that the wheels are too thin

LROI article recommended 6.5x16 wheels

if I fit them what problems will I face will the tyre slip off the wheel or
it is just not recommended

and what is offset anyway?
