I am a member of a UK based LR club, ni names no pack drill here. The club is ARC affiliated.
We are experiencing major problems at commitee level at the moment. The main problem is basically factional. There are various cliques of members who only seem interested in backstabbing each other.
As I see it the club is slowly falling apart at the seams, and the majority of the clubs members are sadly unaware of the situation.
Being an ordinary member myself I have no access to any of the commitee members. Even ater canvassing a number of them all they were concerned with was their own personal fueds.
Is anyone else experiencing the same problems.
There is talk amongst certain members of boycotting events etc. What purpose would this serve apart from to deepen the wounds further.
We are having our AGM at the end of the month so watch this space.
