Open center toolbox lid so you can see gearbox... Remove the small plate (held on with 4 1/4" bolts), using a flash light, look inside as you try to engage LowRange. It is poss who ever built box didn't put shift fork on right place.... At least you'll have some sort of idea. Let me know after you've done that
