As far as power distribution goes your truck (car?) with centre diff locked is equivalent to a part time 4WD with four wheel drive engaged. Your full time 4WD advantage is mostly applicable on hard pavement driving with the centre diff unlocked. Their are several aftermarket axle diff locks available for your Disco eg ARB Air Lockers, Detroit Lockers etc. (even one from South Africa made by Gearmax, come on, buy South African!) I do not have experience of lockets in the axles though. Several of the other guys on the Forum however have, so come on you guys. |
