Granted that the reply from Land Rover is biased from their viewpoint, it seems to me to be much more accurate than the CAR report, for that latter report was taken from documents stolen from Land Rover by a disgruntled former employee, and was based not on production vehicles but, rather, on prototype testing. (The above is, obviously, my personal opinion. I have no legal connection to either side of the argument.)
