I have a 1987 Series 3 and have just lost power in high ratio in 2 wheel drive. If 4WD lever is depressed it drives OK. Also drives OK in low ratio 4WD. The gearbox seems to be turning normally in High ratio but no power is transmitted to the rear driveshaft. Any suggested diagnosis before I go any further.
