I have some personal experience with the superwhite bulbs. My 88 Range Rover has never been great in the light department, so I upgraded. First I started with replacing the sealed beams with a pair of hella Euro spec replaceable bulb units. These ship with a 60w high/55w low bulb. This was a huge improvement. As you know, more is always better, so I soon replaced the bulbs with PIAA superwhite 135w/100w bulbs. This also was an improvement, although not as dramatic as the lens/housing change. I am very happy with the current configuration.
