I would replace your shocks with the heavy duty military
shocks that are available if you are going to be fairly
heavily weighed down, which I presume will be the case.
Through hands on experience I can tell you they are very
stiff without a load, but are fine with one. Also you
may consider well greasing your springs and adding spring
gaiters to your vehicle to smoothen movement. Also add
a steering dampener if you do not already have one.
