S2a Speedo Posted by Gareth Roberts on October 14, 1997 at 07:51:36: I have a 66 s2a (Ex UK Military LWB Soft Top), which I am currently restoring. The original speedo was broken, so I obtained a used item from a breaker. The original speedo read up to 90 mph, the replacement that I have reads up 70mph. The problem is that the new speedo read @25mph to fast, at 30mph it read 55!!. The odometer is spot on. Does this mean that the speedo is faulty, or is it the wrong gearing? Gareth Roberts
