Missing bits on Discovery diff lock

Hi Miguel,

I'm amazed that the diff lock electrical assemblies had been
forgotten. I hope that that BMW quality control will ensure
that the last remaining Discovery Series I models like yours
are correctly built prior to the Series II. I would like to
buy the older model because of the shorter rear overhang,
the sideways facing third row seats (more accessible) and
cost savings on a run out model.

While I was in San Jose, CA, I visited a LR dealer on Steven
Creek Boulevard in the Santa Clara vicinity, and went for a
test drive. The dealer suggested that when you shift from
high to low, be sure to drive the car forward for another
metre or so and then re apply another push to the transfer
lever to make sure that it has fully seated into the low
range. Apparently the transfer lever has a tendency of
popping out of low if this procedure isn't done.

Cheers,

Lawrance
