2) Dirt in the idle system. Unscrew the jet (if that's what it is) just above the low speed mix screw. There are three tiny holes around its circumference. The end pulls off it ( I know, it doesn't look like it) and there is probably a spec of debris inside there. That was the case with mine. Don't try reaming the holes, please note staged advice when you see it. You need the choke on a bit at low speed to suck more fuel into the mix because something is making it difficult for the fuel to work its own way through the idle speed carb.
