Expect to pay out repair costs on any 10 year old car. Land Rovers are great cars in many respects, but do cost some to keep in top shape, parts are more costly than the average US vehicle. They are also fuel hungry.
Like any car, if it has been thrashed it WILL be a money pit.
If it has been really well maintained then it could go another 10 years, depending on mileage and how you drive it.
