I have a '97 disco v8 that has a problem I can't find to repair. It drives normal most of the time, but then starts chugging. The tacho jumps up and down as the revs die then recover. It's like switching on and off, but won't stall. If you hold the gas pedal down, put the auto trans in neutral and roll, it still does it UNTIL the car comes to a complete stop. It then behaves normally. It did this 7 times in a row. Think maybe a sensor?? if so, what?? and where do I locate it? it's driving me nuts!!
