My 1996 Discovery with 160k miles has been giving me trouble lately. Occasionally, the headlights won't come on. I will turn them on, and my dash lights will come on, but no headlights. The high-beam indicator will be lit, and when I try to click the lights (to disengage the high-beams) it clicks, but the lights still are not on, and the high-beam indicator is still lit. The first few times it happened, if I waited about a minute, they would just come on, and the high-beam indicator would shut off. But last night, the same problem occurred, but it had not corrected itself after 20 minutes.
