HELP !! ABS, TC AND BRAKE lights on when brake

Posted by agus on October 09, 2005 at 04:57:31:

I own 2003 discovery , I change the pads (with mintex) last year for the 1st time. since then the brake is making noise , and the ABS, TC, and BRAKE lights are on . Sometimes , I also feels pressure and vibration when press the pedal. I took it to the land rover dealer and they can not find the problem .They wanted me to change the rotors and quoted $1500.00 for parts and labors. IS my problem come from the rotors ?? Do you recomend anything else to change ? Dealer told me that the pads are still 70 %, but they assumed it was from the rotor (my rover has 45000 miles), but when I change the brake last year the mechanic told me that the rotors were still good. Does my problem come from the ABS sensor ? calipers ? or what else?

I don't know anything about cars , so please be patient with me.
