My 2004 Disco. Makes an unerving sound when it is cold. Not just that air bypass sound on immediate cold start. It lasts for about 5 minutes and is worse as I accelerate. The dealer gave me the ole "It's supposed to sound like that" crap. It's made that sound for the last 15k miles (30K engine). I do not hear the sound on my old Rover with an 03 disco engine. I figure I will take it to an independent shop before I get into it with Land Rover. Shawn
