6cyl and LPG (ULP)

I have a 6 cylinder 109 ex-army Land Rover which was converted to run on Liquified Petroleum Gas (LPG-Propane) by its previous owner. Like ULP, LPG has no lead and burns very dry. I have had the engine correctly tuned using a dyno (it still does not produce any power though) I have done about 10000km (6000miles) and have not yet had any problems. And Now the Question? Is is possible to buy hardened exhauset valve seats for the old 2.6 6cyl engine? I was also told that stainless valves would be OK. Any ideas? In Australia, LPG is approximately half the price of leaded petrol and this makes the old girl quite economical so I am keen to keep the engine running on LPG if I can.
