all I'd expect you to need is front brake pads, the rears are good for
36,000, if the transmission was manual, then it's unfortunate but the box isn't very
reliable, it's not unusual. But if it's auto, I've never seen one just fail completely
in fact they rarley go wrong, I think you've just got a Friday afternoon car!
