It you really looked at the drive blade on teh the DIST you'll see it's bias to one side, that mean the adaptor is bias as well (right?). Then you'd have to think that the gear in which the adaptor rides in/on was put in 180-degrees out.... right? I'd say your LR mechanic needs to go back to school.
Land Rover's all had LUCAS units, get a new one and forget about the electronic junk.
