Because I travel to Italy next month, I'd like to know if someone can help me with this problem: Freelander instruction manual tells me that it is inpossible to mount snowchaines on weels other than 195/80R15. My car is equiped with 215/65/R16 sportsweels. After having inspected the car with my local dealer we think that it is possible to mount snowchaines on that type of weels withuot damaging steering or suspension parts.
Has anyone already driven a Freelander with snowchains on 215/65R16 weels, or had problems with it?
