A few other points to note.

1) Be very gentle with the plastic plugs as they break when overtightened.
2) When you installed the thermostat you put the air bleeder facing up right?
3) Turn on the heater when doing this to flush the heater core.
4) Next week go and but a genuine shop manual, it explains all of this nicely. (not that we don't like typing or anything).

BTW, what drain plug?
