Discovery 1995 - Wet carpets Posted by Philip Pullinger (UK) on December 30, 1998 at 05:52:29: Having what seems like an endless problem with water getting in from outside and soaking the under carpet wadding in the front of the vehicle. Trying to identify exactly where it is coming in is very difficult as it is near impossible to view behind the dashboard. Some water I believe is getting in through the air intake, although a lot of water is getting in through the other side of the vehicle. I have discovered that the sound deadening material behind the windscreen wiper motor is wet. Has anyone got any ideas where I should check.
